Public Health & Risk Communications

MSA employs a multi-layered, all-hazards approach to Public Health and Risk Communications that provides a framework for supporting our clients when responding to pandemic and epidemic outbreaks. To increase the utility of the preparedness plan, our team works with clients to provide hazard-specific guidance for unique disruptions, such as the 2009 H1N1 Pandemic Influenza. Recognizing that the medical community predicts that future pandemics and epidemics will be triggered by new strains of viruses and bacteria, our approach provides for strategic preparedness, while maintaining the flexibility and scalability necessary to respond to entirely new strains.

MSA analysts have supported agencies such as the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in developing Points of Distribution (POD) centers for dispersing mass prophylaxis antibiotics, vaccinations, and personal protective equipment (PPE) such as facemasks and antiseptic hand wash.

Our clients trust our abilities and our experience in providing the innovative solutions necessary to respond and recover with confidence from any disaster.
